Adopting this guy was the best decision. Gunner makes my heart so happy!
I wasn't really looking for a horse but my husband found Artillery (aka: Gunner) on the Friends of Ferdinand website. So I went and looked at him. Lori Miller rode him for me and then I tried him out. I think it was love at first sight. I wasn't so sure about an ottb but I can tell you it was the best decision I made. He has been the best horse for me. He is kind, so smart, and brave. He has allowed me to fulfill my dream of becoming an eventer! He makes me want to ride everyday. His dressage is improving and he loves jumping! We are taking it slow and he is becoming better and better every day! It'll be two years this June and the show season is going to be one for the books! He is an ears forward loving his job kinda guy! Adopting this guy was the best decision. Gunner makes my heart so happy!
